We could! As long as you have a business name, we could start with that. Logo design, typography, colour palette can all be started as long as you have an idea. Please keep in mind that should the primary designs be completed and you decide on something different later down the road, there may be an extra cost for a re-design.

Yes! We have multiple different services available for you. We offer customized pricing based on the complexity of the work. If you are looking for multiple services, let us know and could do a “bundling” of services.

Our pricing is completely customized, and is based on the complexity of the work. Are you hiring us for multiple different services? If so, we do offer “bundling” of prices.

We are experienced with designing websites on WordPress, Squarespace, Square (aka Squareup), Shopify and Wix. If you already have one started on one of those website building platforms, we can take over for you and complete the website design – or start from scratch if you’re looking for an overall of an existing website.

  1. First step is the domain name, this is the address people would type in to visit your site (for example mine is bloomwoodcreativestudio.com). Your domain name can be your brand name, a version that includes that brand name, etc. You’ll also want to take into consideration the domain extension (i.e. ____.COM, or .CA, or .CO, etc).
  2. For your website to be published and accessible on the internet, you need a web hosting service to essentially “house” your site on it. If your website is the tenant, the web hosting is the landlord.
  3. Next step is the web design. Sounds like a lot of work right? If we are designing your website and you’re unsure where to start, we can help take care of all of those steps for you. We could include the cost of the domain and web hosting in your total fee.

We could provide the general copy for certain sections of your website, but as that takes more time (versus you providing the website information yourself) the fee may be more. There are some website sections that we would recommend you do yourself, like the brand mission statement, your “about us” page, etc. It needs to have your own personal touch on it.

Once the services and confirmed, we will email you an invoice. Payment is required up front for new clients and new collaborations. If there are ongoing services (i.e. web hosting) we could set up a monthly payment, however please discuss it with us beforehand as this may not always be available.

We accept e-transfer or cash.

Winnipeg, MB! Our home studio is in the North West of the city. For product photography, we require the products to be dropped off (and picked up afterwards). If you have a central location and cannot make it out to our location, let us know ahead of time and we may be able to arrange an alternative option.

No, we do not. Kat (who you would be working with 100% of the time) has a flexible day job also working with businesses, however bloomwood✭ creative studio is her creative outlet that she works on during her spare time and in between her daily life routine, which is why it’s important to establish the timing of the projects ahead of time.

It can be as easy as you dropping the items off to our home studio. We have our own props, backdrops and accessories for the photos. If there are any specific items you want to include in your photos, it would definitely be helpful for you to include them as we may not have them.

The timing of completion can depend on a variety of factors: how many products you have, how many photos you need of each of them, the style of photography (i.e. simple white background website style photos would be quicker & simpler than the set up of a styled lifestyle shoot), the number of jobs I have in my queue at that moment. If you have a tight deadline, it’s best to contact us beforehand and let us know. We can give you a better idea of how long it will take.

For any design work, it’s important that you provide us with written/typed information in full. It’s much more time consuming to go back and forth and edit items after it’s already been designed so please proofread and double check the information you are providing us before you send it to us for the design.

We do not. While we do still manage social media for some existing clients, we have found that with the added services we now offer, we are not able to commit time to take on any social media management for new clients. If you are looking for this service, you can still reach out and we can refer you to another creative in the Winnipeg area.

*Please note: There may be a waiting list for certain services, depending on workload. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know upon inquiring.

Absolutely! Please reach out via the Client Application form or Inquiry Form (or Instagram DM) and let me know what you’re looking for. If you have some inspo we could review, that’s helpful as it helps give me an idea of the vibe you’re going for.

Yes! If we are designing your website, we provide you a preview multiple times throughout the journey. If there’s edits to be made, or if it’s not quite meeting your intended vision, you would let us know and we could modify it from that point. The same goes for other work we are doing for you.

Your input! We will be communicating through either texts, DM’s, email, WhatsApp (or whatever method we discussed beforehand is the most efficient). We will reach out to ask questions about preference about this or that. While we know you are busy with your business, we want to create the work for you in an efficient manner so please respond when you can. The quicker you respond, the quicker we can move onto the next step for you.

If communication frequency is an issue for you, or if you truly have no preferences, please let us know. If you want to give us full creative control and not have us contact you with questions along the way, that is alright as well. Just keep in mind that after you receive the final “product”, any changes afterwards may include additional fees.

You would be working with Kat 100% of the time. There are behind-the-scenes consultants that are key to her process, including a computer-whiz who assists with the web hosting, domain procuring , coding and general I.T. support, as well another partner who is well versed in all things business finance and analytics.
